We would like to take the time to congratulate Eric Sentz, our Chief Financial Officer, on being a finalist in Central Penn Business Journal’s Financial Executive of the Year for 2015. Eric Sentz has been with Penn Waste since 2009 and boasts a lifelong career in the waste management industry. When our new recycling facility opened earlier this year, we began taking more material. While the recycling capabilities have increased as technology has grown, there are still some materials that cannot be recycled in our facility. Medical waste and needles have been appearing more often in our recycling stream over the past few months. These items are a serious health hazard to our employees and the public. Labor Day Holiday Collection Schedule: Monday, September 7th, 2015
Due to the Labor Day Holiday, all residential Penn Waste trash and recycling collections will be delayed one (1) day for the entire week. Monday customers will be collected on Tuesday. Tuesday customers will be collected on Wednesday and so on for the remainder of the week through Saturday.
Special Note:
Newberry Township: Yard Waste collection will be on Saturday, 9/19/15 due to the holiday.
