Penn Waste launches Mobile Website!

If you have been browsing our website on your phone recently, you may have noticed a big change: our website now has mobile functionality.

The mobile site provides increased convenience by giving you direct links to contact us via email and phone, and facilitating payment of residential bills on your phone via your mobile browser.

The mobile page allows for functionality on Apple and Android products, so be sure to take some time to explore the different sections of the mobile site!

Sign Up for Municipal Alerts

Do you want to ensure that you receive the most up to date information from Penn Waste?

Did you know that there are two ways to stay up to date on collection updates from Penn Waste? One way is through Penn Waste’s new website, which allows you to set which municipality you reside in. By selecting your home municipality, you will receive custom collection updates when you visit Penn Waste’s website.

Additionally, to ensure you receive proactive notifications on service alerts, be sure to sign up for our E-News Updates, which is the second way to stay informed. You will receive e-mails directly to your inbox of collection updates and recycling tips. Whether it is weather delays or holiday collections, you will be one of the first residents to know what is going on at Penn Waste.

So how do you sign up for municipality alerts? There are two different ways and here is how to do it:

Through the “For Your Home” tab on the Homepage

1. Start by going to www.pennwaste.com
2. Hover over the “For Your Home” tab as pictured and select “Resources for Your Municipality”.
3. On this page toward the bottom is a section called “Find Your Municipality By Name”.
4. Find your municipality either in the list or on the map and select it.
5. Once you get to the municipality’s page, in the right corner of the page is the option to “Receive Municipality Alerts”. Select this option.
6. Every time you visit the Penn Waste website, you will see the instant weather alerts and specific information about your area in the gray bar at the top of each page on this site.

Through the “Choose Your Municipality” option at the top of every page.

1. Go to any page on Penn Waste’s website, for this example we will use the homepage.
2. At the very top of the page, next to the Penn Waste logo, there is “Your Municipality: Choose Your Municipality”. Click on “Choose Your Municipality”
3. On this page toward the bottom is a section called “Find Your Municipality By Name”.
4. Find your municipality either in the list or on the map and select it.
5. Once you get to the municipality’s page, in the right corner of the page is the option to “Receive Municipality Alerts”. Select this option.
6. Every time you visit the Penn Waste website, you will see the instant weather alerts and specific information about your area in the gray bar at the top of each page on this site.

Either way you choose, you will end up with the same result. You will now be signed up for our Municipality Alerts.
