Collection Update: Route Update 2/21/19: Collection Update: Route Update – Thursday, 2/21/19 – All routes are running on schedule. Areas that are not accessible we will take double on your next regular collection day.
Due to the excessive amount of snow, all Penn Waste collection routes are cancelled for Tuesday, 1/26/16. At this time, we are no longer operating on a holiday schedule for the remainder of the week. Monday and Tuesday collection routes have been cancelled. We will collect double the normal volume on your next regularly scheduled collection day.
At this time, we are planning to run Wednesday, Thursday and Friday routes for the remainder of the week.
The excessive amount of snow on roads have created very hazardous conditions for our crews. For the safety of our employees and the general public we will not be running on Tuesday.
Lancaster City Residents – Effective Monday January 25th, trash service in the City of Lancaster is suspended for the week. Service will resume on Monday February 1st. Customers may set out double the allotted amount. Please hold off on setting any large items or excess trash that does not require immediate collection; hold this for better weather, this will improve collection. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation during this time. This will ensure the safety of the public and our workers.
Due to inclement weather, Penn Waste routes will not be running on Monday 1/25. Penn Waste will be operating on a holiday schedule for the remainder of the week. All collections will be delayed one day through Saturday 1/30.
For areas that are not accessible due to road conditions, we will accept double the normal volume on your next regularly scheduled collection day.
