For aluminum and steel recycling in your kitchen, keep reading!
Recycling in your kitchen may be one of your most well-educated topics, simply due to the fact that there is so much that can be recycled. That goes for aluminum and steel products as well. Ranging from beverage cans to food preparation, many metal products that you may find in your kitchen can be tossed in your recycle bin.
Let’s start with one of the most known recyclable: soda and beer cans. As many people have been doing for years now, these items may be placed in your recycle bin. Regardless of size, all of these metal containers are recyclable. Other products that you may already know are recyclable include the cans that hold canned food such as fruits and veggies. Make sure that you clean these items and toss them in your recycle bin!
Did you know that the cooking spray cans are recyclable? They are! As long as they are empty, these cans may be placed in your recycle bin. Any other type of oils or food preparation materials that come in aluminum or steel cans may also be recycled. Be sure to place these items in your recycle bin the next time you finish using the products.
You may find yourself asking: what do I do if I fill my recycle bin with all of these cans? In order to ensure you are maximizing the space of your recycle bin, consider crushing your cans. This saves you space so you can minimize the amount of trash going into the waste stream.
