Penn Waste - Past Educational Programs

York's Community Progress Council, Inc. June 25, 2008
Students learned about the recycling process and how air and water pollution is avoided and resources are saved when new objects are made from recycled products. They drew posters to show why it is important to them that York County residents recycle as much as they can!

Recycle to preserve the places I live and play. "Don't pollute my water. Don't cut down my tree! Recycle!"

Recycle to make my home a cleaner place.

Recycle to prevent landfills from expanding and taking over animals' natural environments because "I love animals!"

"Let's make our water last - recycle glass!"

Recycle so I can enjoy "nice fresh air!"

Recycle paper and cardboard to preserve our trees.

Recycle so beautiful things can continue to grow!

"Recycling helps save the environment! Reduce, Reuse, Recycle!"
