Penn Waste’s Leadership Team

President & Owner
Scott Wagner, President of PW

Scott has over 30 years’ experience in residential and commercial based business. He founded and grew York Waste Disposal, Inc., a waste management firm in business from 1985 to 1997.

In 2000, Scott founded Penn Waste, Inc. and five years later purchased KBS, Inc., a trucking company headquartered in Thomasville, PA.

Chief Financial Officer

Eric is another team member who boasts a lifelong career in the waste management industry.

Since 1985, Eric has held various positions within the waste industry – from financial controller to CFO at several major waste management companies. He joined the Penn Waste team in 2009.

Eric holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.

Director of Operations

Kathy joined the Penn Waste family in 2007 and brought with her some impressive credentials. Her vast
experience stems from accounting through operations management, bringing a large amount of
versatility and value in her position here.

Kathy holds an MBA from York College.

Director of Pricing & Broker Sales

Penn Waste was very excited to have Jeff join the Penn Waste Team in 2011. Jeff brings with him an impressive financial background and over 30 years of experience working in various financial roles within local companies.

Jeff holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Shippensburg University and an MBA from York College.

Municipal Contracts Manager

Ed contributes a wealth of knowledge to Penn Waste thanks to his extensive background in
the waste management industry. He joined the Penn Waste team in 2002.

Ed holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Dickinson College.

Director of Human Resources

Eric has been a valued team member here at Penn Waste since 2004.

He has a Bachelor of Science degree in human resource management from Madison University and a remarkable twenty-five years of experience in his field.

Risk and Loss Control Manager

Barry’s comprehensive law enforcement background made him a great asset for Penn Waste when he joined the team in 2004. Barry has previous experience working as a deputy sheriff, patrolman, and sergeant for police departments in the Dallastown Borough, Hellam Township and Springettsbury Township.

Barry also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Education.

Director of Communications

Amanda joined Penn Waste in 2010 and quickly became an integral part of the team by helping to establish and build the Marketing Department within the company.

Amanda earned a Bachelors of Science degree in Communication with a concentration in Public Relations from Millersville University.
